First of all, who popularized the phrase ‘Holy Cow’, and secondly, how did October sneak up on me?! Ok, it didn’t sneak up, I just wasn’t paying attention when the clock struck midnight. My head is spinning as I sit here remembering what I was doing last year on this date… I won’t bore you with the story again, but I will say that I look forward to celebrating in just a few days our one year of survival on this carnival ride. Drew has got some clever t-shirts that say things like, “I own this t-shirt” and “No really, it’s a good thing” to mark some milestones from his echo past. But where is my t-shirt that says, “A Simple Girl Survives International Relocation To A Place Where There is No Martha White Flour”?! I ask you.
