Wow, It’s Grey and Rainy in Tennessee, Too

We have safely arrived at our Christmas Vacation destination.  I hope that our trip is not as exciting as the Griswold’s, though I do expect something really funny to write about.

I have already had substantive conversations with two strangers and ran into an family friend I haven’t seen since I was kid, only to find out she is reading the blog after getting the grapevine weekly…  (It is so nice to know you enjoy it.)  I ran into 20 other people I knew having lunch with my mom and sister and I realized how small the Nashville skyline seems driving Drew to work this morning.  It is so strange and so nice to be back.

I am trying to keep a close eye on my email today as I expect that I will get some news regarding Tuesday’s interview.  I am not sure what to hope for – I have interviewed for two really great positions with two different, distinctly special, organizations and want both positions.  I guess I’ll continue to hope that I will have the luxury (and difficulty) of choosing between the two.

Drew is enjoying being in the Nashville office with great friends.  He may not have a desk anymore, but I think it still feels not entirely unlike home.
