I mean, without this information becoming too widely known.  I can't decide if I am shy about people finding  out we had fun or scared that someone might invite us again.]]></description>
										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>First things, first:  <a href="http://www.drewandjengotolondon.com/2010/06/score/">Congratulations Taylor</a>!  We&#8217;ll be sending you some rugby related treats shortly!  You have no idea how high you&#8217;ve moved up in the ranks by leaving your small bits of encouragement for one lost little practicing writer.</p>
<p>Ahem.  Mush out.</p>
<p>A few butterflies at Mitsubishi Pharma organised an after work event.  Karaoke.  (Of course.)  I thought I would have trouble singing and dancing with these people I sit in serious meetings with.  I expected it to be awkward.  Drawing on Dutch courage, I actually had a good time.</p>
<p>No matter which song pops into your head when you hear the phrase &#8216;Mama Mia&#8217;, we covered it.  And by the way, Billie Jean is not my lover; I mean it.  Steady on!<br />

<p>I didn&#8217;t secure my colleagues&#8217; permission to publish photos of them singing.  Sorry &#8217;bout that.  Maybe I am bending the rules a little, but no one will be blackmailed based on the appearance of their bottom half.  Who would recognize them?  Well, perhaps excepting  these famous legs.</p>

<p>No they didn&#8217;t.</p>
<p>Um, yeah.  They did.  And one of my besties picked it.  As they sang, the lyrics slowly sunk&#8230;  I realized that this song might actually be an incredibly appropriate accompaniment to my days at work.</p>
<p>The good news is that we quickly returned to having fun.<br />

<p>Ultimately, I see that I work with some very incredible people.  Through the meetings, through the disagreements, through the pressure bearing down on us all &#8211; we are a really amazing group of <strong>People</strong>.  This fact has to remain my constant anchor in an otherwise shifting hall of mirrors and smoke.</p>
