My lovely friend Elsa just returned from a trip to New York. Â Before she left she heard me say how badly I wanted to find a sugar bowl and creamer so that serving tea or coffee is less ghetto at the Huddleston Bed and Breakfast. Â Upon her return from the Big Apple she presented me with this beautiful pair… Â How lovely are they?!
Drew was pretty impressed too because he’s a big fan of Frank Lloyd Wright.
They are so cool that I don’t want to get them dirty!  My friend Megan will be here next week though – so maybe we’ll give them a go then.  Maybe the tea will taste better with sugar from this dish…
Speaking of tea, it might not be a horrible idea to have a cup. Â What am I saying?! Â I should go to bed. Â (We stayed out a little past my bedtime last night to see Avenue Q. Â I did enjoy the show; I think Kassi and Kelsey might need to consider this one for August.) Â I should consider closing my eyes.
So, same time tomorrow? Â All my love-

timeless, classic …….your friend has excellent taste! And she is thoughtful, too!
be blessed…..donna
umm swoon!
i am so glad you got to see avenue q! i had to decorate a bulletin board in my residence hall to educate people about life after college, and i used an avenue q theme – orange fur and all! i actually saw it for the first time in london. it was kind of surreal to be vacationing in another country and spend two hours at a play set back home… when i stepped out of the theatre i was like, “where am i!?”
Yes, Donna, I am now officially more adult. We should schedule a tea party… Have you cleared your schedule yet? Ah, Melody, you are going to love Friday’s post! (And I think you might find our flat very neat as well with it’s Corbusier roots and 50-60’s construction.) Kassi. For real. I give up trying to show you anything you haven’t already seen. You world-traveler, you.
