My colleague Sian (who is slowly warming up to the idea of sharing her feelings after my great lengths of pleading and flailing about) is teaching me loads of new things on a daily basis. She knows about Gannets, how to make a proper cup of tea, and about remote places in China – just to name a few quite important things… Pretty remarkable, right?
Well, Sian has also taught me about these Welsh made waffles.
These waffles are sort of like biscuits (and by ‘biscuits’ I mean ‘cookies’, of course) – but there are two stuck together with caramel. They aren’t quite crunchy or chewy. And apparently it is best to sit one to warm on your freshly poured cup of tea before eating.
For the win.
One response to “That’s a Waffle?”
that sounds a-ma-zing!
miss you!
