					<description><![CDATA[that is exactly what parenting is like.  You described it perfectly.  The world is trying to teach them eleventy million things and your little voice is drowned out.  So yes your actions do have to speak louder than your words.  It&#039;s soooo hard!  

It&#039;s way easier not to care and not to be aware of how everything you do affects how your children turn out.  Scary isn&#039;t it?  I certainly worry about my parenting skills sending my kids to the loony bin or at the very least to therapy.  

Oh and I too was uninterested in politics for appallingly too long.  Now I watch and listen and read so much that I sometimes wish I could just go back to being blissfully ignorant.
